CancerCare Has just had it’s 25 year anniversary and needs funding to continue providing support for anyone affected by cancer in North Lancashire & South Lakeland. CancerCare is dedicated to the support of people with cancer, their families and their carers, and those bereaved by cancer. The Legacy Rainbow House Offers rehabilitation and educational services to children with disabilities. This charity specialises in providing services for children with neurological problems and conditions such as cerebral palsy, genetic and metabolic conditions, and acquired brain injuries. Some of our children have undiagnosed neurological problems. Their unique approach is based on an holistic approach to rehabilitation known as Conductive Education which aims to teach children life enhancing techniques, through education, recreation and sports, so that they can live more independent lives within the community. www.thelegacy-rainbowhouse.com
Rotary Lancaster Polio Plus is the Rotary International initiative pledged to rid the world of polio by creating a $50 billion fund to provide a worldwide programme of immunisation.
